Developing a brand name and tone of voice for new coworking space, The Wilds.

THE PROJECT

Design agency, Human After All, was helping a client launch a new type of coworking space—one that exists seamlessly within the local neighbourhood, helping both those inside and outside its walls flourish.

 

Built on the concept of ‘freedom’ and ‘growth’, the new coworking space wanted a brand name and tone of voice that mirrored their mission and felt synonymous with the local environment and community.

THE WORK

For the name, we explored different territories based on elements of the new brand strategy—diving into mythology, literature, nature, portmanteaus, palindromes, sound symbolism, and phonetics.

 

The Wilds evokes a sense of freedom and unbridled growth in keeping with the coworking space.

 

Workshops helped the client understand what they wanted from a tone of voice, reviewing those of existing brands whilst presenting several of our own.
